Tremendous event marking 91st anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held in Dashkesan.
Head of the Dashkesan Executive Authority Ahad Abiyev told of the life and activity of founder of the Azerbaijani state. He touched upon national leader`s services in the history and foundation for economic development of Azerbiajan laid by him.
The national flag of independent Azerbaijan was raised by national leader Heydar Aliyev at the Supreme Majls of the Nakhchivan Autonommous Republic.
Abiyev said that national leader Heydar Aliyev came to power in 1993 to put an end to anarchy in the country. Within short time, armed groups were neutralized, law was restored and chaos was ended.
According to him, Azerbaijan is a strategically important country in the world politics and this prestige is rising. Currenty, President Ilham Aliyev is successfully continuing national leader`s policy
Speaking at the event, deputy executive secreatry of YAP and MP Mubariz Gurbanly told of the exceptional services of national leader Heydar Aliyev in development of Azerbaijani state. He noted that national leader`s forward-looking policy is succesfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
