YAP Central Administration first party organization holds meeting to hear reports and elect new officials
The first party organization of the Central Administration of the New Azerbaijan Party has held a meeting to hear reports and elect new officials.
Opening the event, chairperson of the first party organization Tamilla Hajıyeva highlighted what has been done since the previous meeting. She spoke of the country`s accomplishments in socio-political, economic, cultural fields, as well as President Ilham Aliyev`s successful internal and foreign policy. She also drew the participants` attention to preparations for the celebration of the anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The chairperson also highlighted preparations for and the results of the municipal elections. She said the party`s foreign relations have expanded considerably.
Member of YAP Board of Directors Karim Karimov, editor in chief of «Səs» newspaper Bahruz Guliyev and official at YAP Executive Secretariat Emil Abasov addressed the meeting.
Participants of the meeting praised the report of the first party organization of the Central Administration of the New Azerbaijan Party as satisfactory.
Deputy Executive Secretary of YAP, member of the Milli Majlis Siyavush Novruzov hailed the report of the first party organization. He said YAP was the most powerful political force in the country. “Members of the New Azerbaijan Party are playing a key role in promoting the policy pursued by president of the country Mr Ilham Aliyev. In general, our party members are making an active contribution to overall public and political processes in the country,” said Mr Novruzov.
The meeting then discussed some organizational issues. Head of the department for work with documents and statistics at YAP Executive Secretariat Afat Huseynova was elected chairperson of the first party organization of the Central Administration of the New Azerbaijan Party. Editor in chief of «Səs» newspaper Bahruz Guliyev was elected deputy chairman of the organization. The participants also elected a 13-man Board of Directors, and a 25-man delegation to be sent to the 10th conference of YAP Sabail district branch.
