President of France François Hollande congratulates Ilham Aliyev on re-election as Azerbaijani President
President of France François Hollande has sent a letter of congratulation to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The letter says: “Dear Mr. President!
I congratulate you on the occasion of your re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and wish successes in your next term.
Remaining committed to strengthening the ties between our countries, I wish development of cooperation in political, economic, cultural and educational spheres.
At the same time, I welcome your focusing on close relations between Azerbaijan and EU, which is the topic of the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit on November 29 in Vilnius.
I assure you that as a co-chair of Minsk Group, France is committed to supporting fair and peaceful settlement of the long-lasting Nagrno Karabakh conflict.
