Elmar Mammadyarov: Nagorn-Karabakh conflict cannot be consided a frozen conflict
Europe must pay more attention to the Karabakh conflict, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov said at the meeting of the PACE Permanent Committee.
The Foreign Miniser said, “existence of so many refugees and such conflicts in 21st century is unaccepetable.”
Elmar Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan facecs double standards in implementation of UN resolutions on Nagorno-Karabakh. According to him, UN resolutions on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict have not been implemented for 20 years.
He noted that talks with Armenia on going on and this conflict leads conflict to nothing.
Minister said the UN Security Council adopted four resolutions and resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflit must be based on territorial integrity and sovereignty of states.
