Baku 2015 flame arrives in Aghjabadi
The Baku 2015 flame has arrived in Aghjabadi as it continues its journey across the regions of Azerbaijan.
At the European Games gate the flame was handed to deputy chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party District Organization`s Women`s Council Rade Gafarova. Ten torchbearers then started their 3.5km long route and carried the flame into Heydar Aliyev Central Square to the sound of wild applause. Deputy chief of the district youth and sports department Eldaniz Ganbarov lit the flame of the European Games.
The event featured demonstration of a footage highlighting a ceremony to light the flame of Baku 2015 First European Games in Ateshgah temple.
The flame then continued its journey to the next destination, Aghdam.
