Serbian first lady thanks Azerbaijani people and President Ilham Aliyev for sending humanitarian aid to her country
Serbian first lady Dragica Nikolic has praised humanitarian aid sent by Azerbaijan to her country as it was hit by devastating floods.
Speaking at a press conference following a ceremony to receive the aid, Mrs. Nikolic thanked the Azerbaijani people and President Ilham Aliyev.
On Monday, the Azerbaijani President instructed the Ministry of Emergency Situations to send humanitarian aid to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aid included 12 motor boats of various sizes, 260 tents, 300 camp beds, 1,500 blankets, 40 power generators, 20 water pumps, etc.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the aid was received by the head of the Presidential Administration, who also thanked the Azerbaijani people and President Ilham Aliyev.
