Baku 2015 flame arrives in Astara
The Baku 2015 flame has arrived in Astara as it continues its journey across the regions of Azerbaijan.
Torchbearers were welcomed by thousands of locals who took to the streets to join in the celebrations. Ten torchbearers then started their route. The ceremony featured demonstration of a footage highlighting the flame capture ceremony in Ateshgah where President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev lit the first torchbearer’s flame.
The flame then continued its journey to the next destination, Yardimli.
