Japanese Internet TV airs program on Baku-2015 first European Games
Japan’s World Investors Internet TV channel has broadcast a program highlighting Baku-2015 first European Games.
TV presenter and producer Kazuyasu Ishida lauded the preparations for the Games as grandiose.
He noted that the newly built sport facilities draw one`s attention with both their number, functionality and beauty.
Mr Ishida highlighted the lighting of the flame of the European Games by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. “The excitement of the European Games is being felt in each part of Europe.”
The Japanese producer underlined that promoting and developing sport is one of the national priorities for Azerbaijan. “The holding of the first European Games in Baku testifies to international influence that Azerbaijan has gained in recent years,” he added.
Highlighting Azerbaijan’s tourism potential, Mr. Ishida said visitors are impressed by historical sites like Gobustan, Yanardag, Icherisheher and modern landmarks of Baku.
