Azerbaijan invested $ 302 mln in Georgia last year
Foreign direct investment in Georgia in 2014 amounted to $ 1,272 mln. According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, it is 39% higher than the preliminary figures for 2013 and 35.1% more the revised estimates for 2013.
The largest investor in Georgia in 2014 were the Netherlands - $ 331 mln, or 26% of total foreign direct investment. Azerbaijan is in second place - $ 302 mln. (24%), the third is China with $ 195 mln (15%).
