President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Turkish Minister of Science, Industry and Technology
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Minister of Science, Industry and Technology of Turkey Fikri Işık.
Minister Fikri Işık conveyed greetings on behalf of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to the head of state. He noted the importance of “BakuTel-2014” Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition. Fikri Işık said they were happy to attend a ministerial meeting on science and technology of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in Baku.
Recalling his phone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on December 1, President Ilham Aliyev once again described the fact that Azerbaijan was invited to the meetings and the summit of G20 by Turkey as a good sign of friendly and fraternal ties between the two countries. The head of state said Azerbaijan-Turkey cooperation was successfully developing on all fronts, and stressed the importance of a further expansion of the bilateral cooperation in the fields of science and high technologies.
The Turkish Minister said the two countries must spare no efforts towards strengthening Azerbaijani nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev`s “one nation, two states” philosophy.
The head of state thanked for the greetings of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, and asked the Minister to communicate his greetings to the Turkish President and Prime Minister.
