President Ilham Aliyev offers condolences to President of Iran
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Iranian leader Hassan Rouhani.
“I have been deeply saddened by the news of heavy human loss as a passenger plane crashed near the city of Tehran.
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deep condolences to you, families and loved ones of those who died and the whole people of Iran,” the head of state said in his letter.
