Azerbaijani chief electoral officer to attend 11th European conference of Electoral Management Bodies in Finland
Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC) Mazahir Panahov will leave for Helsinki, Finland, to join the 11th European Conference of the Electoral Management Bodies.
This electoral event will take place on June 26-27. The core topic of the conference is: “Combating the misuse of administrative resources during electoral processes”. Discussions will take place in a series of three plenary sessions and nine thematic working groups.
More than 90 participants, representatives of 26 countries and 5 international institutions will be joining the conference.
The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe/Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR), the Association of World Electoral Bodies (A-WEB), International IDEA and other institutions active in the electoral field will also attend the conference.
