Kvirikashvili: Tunnel, built in Turkey, has joined Georgia with this country
"The tunnel, built in Turkey, has joined Georgia with this country. We, together with Azerbaijani counterpart and Minister of Transport of Turkey, will celebrate the completion of the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway tunnel, which unites Georgia and Turkey,” Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development George Kvirikashvili told reporters.
According to him, the communication work as well as installation of electrical cables and rails is currently held inside the tunnel.
"The dynamics of our work is very good. For us it is important that the construction of the tunnel, the most difficult part, has been completed.”
