Azerbaijan and Russian Customs Services sign documents

A delegation led by the Russian Federal  Customs Service Director Andrei Belyaninov who is on two days official visit to Azerbaijan has met the Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev to sign documents on this sphere.

During the meeting, chairman of the State Customs Committee, lieutenant-general Aydin Aliyev highlighted political, economic and cultural relations of the two neighboring countries.

Praising successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, the chairman of the State Customs Committee hailed mutual cooperation in all areas including in the customs sphere.

Mr. Aliyev stressed the significance of the customs authorities in establishment and development of relations between the two countries, saying that this meeting will contribute to the strengthening of relations.

The head of the Russian Federal Customs Service of Russia Andrei Belyaninov in his turn noted that Russia attaches great importance to regional cooperation and expressed willingness to cooperate more closely with neighboring countries. Noting that he eyewitnesses the rapid development of Baku each time, the guest said this development is observed in all spheres, as well as in the customs field.

Mr. Belyaninov praised the high level of cooperation between customs bodies of Azerbaijan and Russia, and said his current visit will contribute to the sustainable development of bilateral relations.

The sides signed 3 documents between the Azerbaijani and Russian customs bodes - protocol of the working meeting of the heads of customs services, technological scheme of a mutual exchange of information on trade statistics and bilateral cooperation plan for 2015-2016s.

The documents were inked by the Chairman of State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev and head of the Russian Federal Customs Service Andrei Belyaninov.
