Head of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev will pay a visit to Iran in the second half of February 2015
Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayeen has met Elchin Guliyev, according to the embassy.
During the meeting, the ambassador handed the invitation of Iranian Border Guards commander, Brigadier General Qassem Rezaei to Guliyev to visit Tehran.
Elchin Guliyev expressed hope that he will visit Tehran in the second half of February.
Pak Ayeen said that Guliyev’s visit to Iran will contribute to strengthening the border security of the two countries, as well as fighting smuggling.
Iranian diplomat emphasized the importance of a joint fight against crime, drug trafficking, as well as holding joint training courses.
