Georgian Deputy Premier: Developing relations with Azerbaijan is among key priorities for official Tbilisi
Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Georgi Kvirikashvili has said developing bilateral relations with Azerbaijan is one of the key priorities for his country`s government.
“We are determined to develop, strengthen and enhance our friendly and brotherly ties with Azerbaijan. And we are happy to see the same on the Azerbaijani side,” he told AzerTAc`s correspondent.
“Our countries are important strategic partners, Azerbaijan is the largest investor in Georgia.”
Mr Kvirikashvili said: “We are jointly carrying out large regional projects like the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars.”
“The State oil company of Azerbaijan, SOCAR, is making huge investment in Georgia. The process of supplying gas to regions in Georgia continues. And we thank the Azerbaijani government for all this,” he added.
