President Ilham Aliyev received Director General of Japan`s Office for Promotion of Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Special Adviser to Prime Minister
On April 29, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Director General of the Office for the Promotion of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games under Japan`s Cabinet of Ministers, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister for healthcare and sport affairs Takeo Hirata.
Takeo Hirata recalled with satisfaction his previous visits to Azerbaijan and his meeting with national leader Heydar Aliyev. He said he was deeply impressed by rapid development processes that had taken place in Azerbaijan ever since.
The head of state noted that continuous measures had been taken in Azerbaijan to ensure development in all areas.
The parties exchanged views over prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in various fields, including energy sector.
