President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Carpet Museum
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva have attended the opening of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the facility.
President Ilham Aliyev addressed the ceremony.
Speakers at the event included academician Teymur Bunyadov, carpet weaving expert Mammadhuseyn Huseynov and director of the museum Roya Taghiyeva.
They wished First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva a happy birthday.
President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva then reviewed the museum and carpets.
