Azerbaijan does not recognize presidential elections held in Abkhazia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry has said it does not recognize the so-called presidential elections held in Abkhazia.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan reiterates its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and declares that it does not recognize the so-called “presidential elections” conducted in Abkhazia, Georgia on August 24, 2014,” the ministry said in a statement.
