Azerbaijan, Romania mull expansion of cooperation
On June 28 and 29, the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic Ismat Abbasov has met with Romania’s Prime Minister Victor-Viorel Ponta.
The meetings took place during Victor-Viorel Ponta’s stopover at the Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport. On his official visit following to Afghanistan the Romanian Premier made a stopover at the Azerbaijani capital, where he met with the Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister to exchange views on bilateral economic and cultural ties, discuss possibilities to expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Daniel Cristian Ciobanu and other officials took part at the meetings.
